9Point9 Construction is a licensed and bonded construction company, locally owned by Ben and Jo Watkins.

Meet Ben, a co-owner and Construction Manager, boasts over seventeen years of construction and management experience in Australia before Cofounding 9point9 Construction in 2018. Beginning as a carpenter, he steadily climbed the ranks to superintendent and then Project Manager before founding his own residential custom home building company in 2008. Renowned for his commitment to quality construction and customer satisfaction, Ben was honored with the Mackay & Whitsunday Master Builders Rising Star Award. His journey from tradesman to industry leader underscores his passion for building and his adeptness in overseeing over 300 complex projects, making him an invaluable asset to 9point9 Construction.

Meet Jo, a co-owner at 9Point9 Construction. She is a seasoned expert in construction and business management with a lifetime of experience. In addition to project management for new homes, Jo provides design guidance and selections for select projects. Outside of work, Jo runs Extend the Day, a nonprofit focused on improving children's education worldwide, and is the side kick to the 9Point9 Construction Mascot, Mylo!

Meet Ned, his hands-on experience in carpentry and other aspects of the construction pipeline is extensive, he blends building know-how with project management experience to offer a specialized approach to each unique project.  Prioritizing clear, open communication, he maintains a drive towards planning and efficiency, while staying fluid to adapt to any changes throughout a project.  His personal experience living through extensive remodels himself, aids in understanding the process from the client’s perspective and helps inform his approach to the project and client relations.  With a love for design and aesthetic, and an understanding that every project has a budget, Ned is happy to partner with clients and work in tandem to balance form, function and finances.

Meet Steffany, a Bremerton, WA native who shares her home with her beloved cat, Bella. After graduating from CWU, she delved into the world of entrepreneurship on Bainbridge Island. Steffany has teamed up with two other developers on Bainbridge Island for many years, handling multiple big projects from start to finish, where she mastered the art of versatility and discovered her passion for financial management. Steffany thrives in dynamic environments, especially with startups, relishing the "all hands-on deck" method. Beyond the boardroom, she finds joy in tending to her garden, trying with new recipes, and exploring new destinations!
